## Literature
>There is no evil in things changing, just as there is no good in persisting in a new state.
>
>– [[Marcus Aurelius]]
## Notes
* People often conflate change as inherently negative
* Often times, it seems as though they have to "reason through change", especially unwanted change, giving us a predilection for perceiving it as negative.
* However, we need to recognize that [[Change is incapable of being good or bad on its own]]
* It is our [[Perception]] and projection of our desires that lends us to perceive things negative (or positively)
* Are Ryan put it: *They just are*
* [[Marcus Aurelius]] talks about things hovering before you, unmoving. It is we who generate judgement - give them their meaning... [[To live a good life...]]
* Overlap with [[Accepting what is]] and [[Amor Fati (MOC)]] - accept your fate
