It is the act of living out a life lacking [[Mindfulness (MOC)|mindfulness]] and truly [[Know thyself|knowing oneself]], producing an unrealized conception of one's [[Philosophy of Self (MOC)]] and stinting their overall [[Happiness (MOC)|realization of true happiness for and in life]]. Living mindlessly brings about [[A mindless existence]] or [[A surface-level life]]. Many people live their life this way because they live in-between the lines of conforming societal and other's interpreted religious prescriptions, never questioning them or seeking alternative truths, especially within themselves - they're [[Conforming vs Transforming|conformed not transformed]] and lose a [[Fervent curiosity]]. They fear difference and therefore live ignorant to alternative ideas and plausible truths. They seek [[True happiness is found internally, not externally|externalities instead of internalities]] as they struggle to acknowledge that the true essence of [[Happiness (MOC)|happiness]] is already within them. They find a mental rut and make it cozy - making it safe and dependable; something they feel they can control, creating a false sense of mindless peace... It is only at the moments before death that you realize you had so much more to live for and that you were on autopilot the whole time. You find yourself engulfed in either a tsunami of regret as a result of the mental decomposition of [[Ego Death]], or you resist it through the same life-limiting perpetual ignorance that has served you thus far through the inward debate with your [[Super Ego (Psyche)]] that your life had meaning. That you lived for something beyond yourself. Ironically, that's all you ever did: **you lived for everything in spite of yourself**... You lived for worldly norms and meaningless human pursuits, never living out your authentic and known self through others. That you [[Am I running towards something or away from myself|only ever ran from yourself]]. One never lived a truly great life without [[Know thyself|truly knowing themselves]]: [[God crafted us as a puzzle]]. That's the path. Along it, you'll truly find [[God]]... Everything else is just [[Smoke and mirrors]] of a conformed world.
