# The core criticism of early western philosophy Created On: 05-22-2023 10:06 pm Up:: [[Philosophy (MOC)]] Tags:: #note/evergreen🌲 Topics:: [[Early Western Philosophy]] Related:: [[Ego Death]] --- The core criticism of western philosophy is the concept of never ending inception-like realities. To become enlightened has never been proven to be of a fixed final state; it is boundless and infinite, at least theoretically. Therefore, it is impossible to recognize true enlightenment. If you utilize the example of [[Plato’s Cave]], while the man sees beyond the shadows - to the people or objects casting the shadow - there is no evidence that the people or objects that are casting shadows are, truly, human, or whatever one could even begin to conceive them to be… Therefore, what makes a person? This gives rise to the concept of forms, at least in [[Plato]]’s terminology. These can be illustrated by the esoteric nature of ā€œloveā€. #note/tidy🧹 This illustrates a philosophical undoing of a throng of unknown realities and a lacking awareness of them… [[It’s turtles all the way down]]… 🤣
